Authenticator App Setup

Please note to setup MFA it is recommended to use another Device (Laptop, iPad, Personal Phone) to assist with scanning QR code on new phone. If you do not have a company phone, you will want to use Laptop as recommended second device to assist with scanning on personal phone. 

1. On Laptop go to https://mysignins.microsoft.com/security-info (sign in with GPRS email).
            - if you see any "Microsoft Authenticator's" listed you will want to click on "Delete". 

2. (Laptop Continued) On Page Click on "+ Add Sign-in Method" > Authenticator App > Select "Add" > Next > Next (QR Code Should Appear, do not press next on QR Code Screen).

3. On Cell phone make sure to download or open official Microsoft authenticator app: 
4. On Cell Phone Open "Authenticator" App > Accept > Continue > On “Secure your digital life” page tap on “skip” in top right corner > tap "ok" for app lock > allow notifications (if asked).
 
5. (Cell Phone Continued) Tap on “+” in top right corner of authenticator app > Work or School > Scan QR Code > Allow Access to Camera if requested > Scan Code you see on laptop > you then should see your email address in the Authenticator App on your phone.

6. On Laptop press “next” and a two-digit code should appear. On your phone you will then have to type this two-digit code that is presented on your laptop screen and tap on “yes”.

7. On Laptop you should see notification that “Authentication was approved” > Press Next.
